Larissa Coffey, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner, Owner

CoreHealth Direct Primary Care was created by Larissa Coffey, MSN, APRN, FNP-C.  Larissa envisioned working in an innovative medical model after experiencing traditional medicine the last 17 years as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in both the military and civilian sectors.  Larissa is a Navy veteran and a Gulf Breeze native.  She is a Master’s degree prepared Family Nurse Practitioner.  She can prescribe, diagnose, and manage most acute and chronic conditions.  She can do this independently now in the state of Florida due to the recent law passing of House Bill 607 on March 11, 2020.  Please reference the Florida Board of Nursing for further information. Advanced Practice Providers like Larissa are a valuable asset with the current primary care shortage.

Larissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of Florida in 2006. Go Gators! She received her Master’s degree from the University of South Alabama in 2013. Larissa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners (FLANP). Since moving back to the area in 2014, she has worked with all populations and ages in primary care, community health, employee health, urgent care, infectious disease, and internal medicine.

Larissa is married with four children, 1 dog, and 2 cats, and is passionate about providing awesome services to her patients AND spending as much time with family. She loves all things wellness related including running, swimming, cooking, reading, biking, gardening, quiet time, and nature.
