Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you pay for office visits or copays at CoreHealth DPC when you see the provider?

NO! You only pay the flat monthly fee and enrollment fee.

2. Do you process insurance for primary care office visits?

NO! You may still come to the clinic if you have insurance but we don’t need it for office visits. You may use your insurance out in town for expensive care, labs, or imaging or specialty referrals.

3. Are labs that are drawn onsite included in the membership?

No, the labs drawn onsite are self pay and very low prices! Example: TSH/thyroid panel is $6 or Vitamin D is $13

More importantly, healthcare is personalized and one person may need certain labs that another person may not, so we tailor your workup to your individual needs and discuss pricing prior to lab draws done in the office.

4. If I have Medicare can I still be a member of CoreHealth DPC?

Yes! You pay your flat monthly membership, and you MAY still use your Medicare out in town for labs, specialist, and imaging, etc.

5. Is there a Re-Enrollment fee if I leave but come back?

Yes! You may leave at anytime. There is no contract. We want you to find a primary care provider you connect with and life happens.

6. Are there limitations to what Independent Nurse Practitioners can prescribe in the state of Florida?

Minimal. Family Nurse Practitioners cannot sign for more than 7 days of a schedule II controlled substance like Adderall or Ritalin. Larissa cannot prescribe medical cannabis. If you have specific questions please call or email to see if we can help you!
